About Best Dog Ever Films

Founded by Jack Clancy and Liz Clancy-Lerner in 2012 BDEF found success with their first feature length documentary called 'The Renegades: A Beep Ball Story," which won Best Independent Documentary at the Somewhat North of Boston Film Festival in 2012. BDEF has also created many great pieces of work for the state of Massachusetts and many institutions within the Commonwealth.

Originally from New York, Jack came to Boston to attend college. Shortly after graduating he and fellow friend and business partner, Bruce Bourque, created a corporate video production company called Burclan Productions. Burclan Productions has obtained a long list of awards over the years from organizations such as NY Film and TV Festival, ITVA, and the Chicago Intercom Film Festival. Burclan works with many of the top companies in and around Boston. When he is not working you'll find him golfing, playing basketball, fishing - or most likely spending time with his grandchildren. 

liz clancy-lerner

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Liz always had an affinity for creativity and earned a degree in Communications. Soon after graduating, Liz became an award-winning producer and on-screen talent for QATV (Quincy) and FCTV (Falmouth). She also created a documentary called, "This is Taiwan," which garnered the award of 'Best Documentary' for National Public Access Television. Liz enjoys staying active through running, soccer, and tennis. She loves spending time with her husband and two children.
